Parliamentary Study on Certain Aspects of Criminal Law Protection of Children in Ukraine

Abstract. The parliamentary study examines certain aspects of the criminal law protection of children against violence, in particular the normative legal regulation of limitation periods for criminal liability, the rules for sentencing in cases involving a combination of criminal offenses, the criteria for defining the concept of «grave consequences» of rape, and the grounds for criminal liability of officials for inaction in cases of detected violence against children.

The state of criminal law protection of the life and sexual inviolability of children in Ukraine is analyzed, and prospects for legislative activity in the field of combating violence against children are outlined.
