This information reference presents results of the analysis of the proposals set out on the Draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine’ Regarding the Legal Recognition of Ukrainians as the Titular Indigenous People of Ukraine” (No. 15103 dated 27 March 2026). The focus is on the introduction of the category of ‘titular indigenous people’, as well as the equality of the collective rights of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine.
