On January 20, 2026, the Research Service held a training session within a special short-term professional development program entitled “Culture of oral and written professional speech,” organized for Ukrainian MPs, employees of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, assistants to MPs, as well as representatives of state authorities, local self-government bodies, other legal entities and individuals (on a contractual basis).

The purpose of the educational event was to improve the general language training, language literacy, and communicative competence of the professional training participants, to improve their knowledge and practical skills in the use of language norms in oral and written professional communication, to consolidate and deepen knowledge of the state language in accordance with the official communication norms, to familiarize participants with the peculiarities of oral business communication, and to develop skills and abilities in the linguistic means use under the business communication norms.

 The training was conducted by Nataliia Bartosh, chief scientific consultant of the training centre of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
