On February 13, 2024, the Research Service held a webinar on " Lawmaking and Legislative Drafting Techniques as a Means of Implementation of the Rule of Law. Best Practices from Europe" for Ukrainian MPs, their assistants and employees of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

During the event, it was emphasised on the importance of law-making technologies for Ukraine as a means of implementing the rule of law; the main goals, guidelines and tools for drafting laws were described; the main models of legislative activity in the EU member states’ parliaments were revealed; the unique experience of the Italian Comitato per la legislazione (Committee for the Review of the Quality of Bills) was presented.
