Ukraine's role in the transformation of the Eurasian landscape after 2022

On July 17, 2024, at the invitation of the independent organization Strategeast, representatives of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Maksym Hrebeniuk, Chief Scientific Consultant and Dmytro Starodub, Chief Scientific Consultant took part in a round table on the topic: "The Role of Ukraine in the Transformation of the Eurasian Landscape after 2022", where the presentation of the "Strategeast Westernization Report 2024" was held.
During the event, topical issues of strengthening the westernization of the countries of the post-Soviet space, in particular the Caucasus region and Central Asia, against the background of the large-scale war of russia against Ukraine, as well as finding the best ways to prevent the aggressor state from using mechanisms to circumvent sanctions through third countries, were discussed.
Important attention was also paid to the issues of restoring the economy of Ukraine and the problems of attracting foreign investment for this. According to the results of the discussion, the participants of the round table outlined the prospects for the post-war economic recovery of Ukraine, identified the importance, role and significance of the domestic defense industry and the development of its capacities in these processes.
