Fundamentals of Legislative Linguistics

October 29 to November 6, 2024, the Research Service conducted the training under
the general short-term advanced training program "Fundamentals of
Legislative Linguistics" for employees of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat, Ukrainian
MPs, and their aides.
The purpose of the program is to increase the level of general language skills of training participants and improve their knowledge as well as practical skills on the role of language in legal regulation, legal techniques, and peculiarities of linguistic examination of draft legislative acts.
The training was conducted by Natalia Viktorivna Stratulat, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor, Chief Consultant of the Research Service Training Center.
