Information note on the actualisation of the issue of establishing independent fiscal institutions as part of the reform of the EU economic governance system

Abstract. The Information Note on topical issues of the reform of the economic governance system of the European Union (hereinafter - EU) provides an overview of changes in EU legal acts related to effective coordination of economic policy and multilateral budgetary oversight, rules on the budgetary framework of the Member States, avoidance of excessive public deficit, tasks and functions of independent fiscal institutions.
