Webinar "Ukraine’s Path towards EU Accession II: challenges of EU Enlargement" in cooperation with the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe

On December 16, 2024, within the framework of cooperation between the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (Republic of Austria), a webinar on the topic "Ukraine’s Path towards EU Accession II: challenges of EU Enlargement" was held.

The lecturer was Sebastian Schaffer, Director of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe. During the educational event, key aspects of the EU enlargement process were highlighted, in particular, the challenges facing candidate states and possible strategies to overcome them. Particular attention was paid to Ukraine’s prospects for European integration in the context of the current geopolitical situation, as well as the role of reforms in strengthening its position as a future member of the EU.

Simultaneous translation of the webinar was arranged by the Association4U project which made the event available to a wide range of participants.
