During the working visit of the delegation of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, having taken place at the invitation of the Vice-Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Michał Kaminski, a series of meetings was held with senators and representatives of the Chancellery of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. The sides discussed the harmonization of national legislation with the EU law.

An agreement was reached on the participation of the employees of the Secretariat of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in a series of educational projects “The Role of Parliament in European Integration Processes” under the mentorship of Kazimierz Ujazdowski, a member of the Senate Commission on European Union Affairs, as well as on expanding inter-institutional cooperation with the Foundation for Polish Science  (Lodz).

During the meeting with Agata Karwowska-Sokolowska, Director of the Analyses and Petitions Office of the Senate Chancellery of the Republic of Poland, a plan for further cooperation and implementation of a number of joint training activities on the role of the Parliament in European integration processes was agreed.
