The Research Service joined the discussion of the report on determining the representativeness of employers' organizations and trade unions

At the invitation of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service, Iryna Humenyuk, Deputy Head of the Humanitarian and Social Policy Department of the Research Service, took part in the discussion of the report on Council of Europe standards and EU practices for determining the representativeness of employers' and trade union organisations, prepared by European experts as part of the Council of Europe project “Strengthening the Social Dimension in Ukraine.

The event served as a platform for discussion among experts in the field of social dialogue, leaders and representatives of joint representative bodies of trade unions and employers, members of the Ukrainian Parliament, representatives of the ILO Office in Ukraine, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, the Council of Europe Office, state authorities, and academics.

The presented research results included a comparative review of national representativeness criteria in France, Germany, and Portugal, as well as recommendations for Ukraine on modernizing approaches to determining the representativeness criteria of social dialogue parties.
