Informational reference on the Draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the National Guard of Ukraine" regarding the improvement of certain legal principles of the activities of the National Guard of Ukraine" (No. 14287, dated 10.12.2025)

Abstract. The informational reference considers the need to bring the norms of the Law of Ukraine “On the National Guard of Ukraine” into line with the requirements of paragraph twenty-nine of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On Defense of Ukraine” in order to regulate the functions and obligations of the National Guard of Ukraine to participate in civil-military cooperation activities, in the context of the draft law of Ukraine (No. 14287, dated 10.12.2025).
The draft law is considered to comply with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of lawmaking, and the norms of current legislation.
