The Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Participates in an International Training on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Skills in Public Administration

Representatives of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine participated in the educational event “Training on AI and Digital Skills in Public Administration and Pilot Assessment”, organized by the National School of Public Administration of Croatia (NSPA) in cooperation with the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA) and with expert support from UNESCO.
The participation of the Ukrainian experts took place within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the National School of Public Administration of Croatia, which aims to foster professional dialogue, facilitate the exchange of experience, and strengthen institutional capacity in the field of public administration.
During the event, participants were introduced to contemporary approaches to the application of artificial intelligence in the public sector, discussed the potential benefits and risks associated with the use of AI, and examined issues related to data quality, personal data protection, algorithmic bias, and accountability.
Particular attention during the event was devoted to public policy and regulatory approaches to artificial intelligence, including different models of AI governance applied internationally, as well as Croatia’s experience in developing the strategic and regulatory framework for the digital economy.
