On 6 May 2026, an educational webinar entitled “E-Justice System: Priorities, Challenges and Digitalization of Court Processes” took place. The event was organized by the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in cooperation with the EU Project “Pravo-Justice”.
The webinar was delivered by Maja PRALJAK, judge of the Commercial Court in Zagreb, short-term expert of the EU Project Pravo-Justice.
During the webinar, key approaches to the digitalisation of judicial systems and court procedures were discussed, including the concept of e-Justice as an instrument for the comprehensive transformation of the judiciary rather than merely the introduction of individual IT solutions. Particular attention was devoted to European approaches to the digitalisation of justice, the core EU principles in this field – accessibility, interoperability, efficiency, and security – as well as the practical experience of the Republic of Croatia in the gradual implementation of electronic justice systems.
