Informational Reference on the Draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine to Improve the Procedure for Summoning a Person and Serving Procedural Documents in Criminal Proceedings” (No. 15095 dated 20 March 2026)

Abstract. The informational reference examines the procedure for summoning a person and serving procedural documents in criminal proceedings in the context of the draft Law of Ukraine (No. 15095 dated 20 March 2026). In particular, this concerns the publication of a summons on the official website of the Prosecutor General’s Office and on the official website of the relevant court, as well as the abandonment of the outdated requirement to publish such procedural documents in “mass media of nationwide distribution” (media).
The draft law is considered to comply with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of law-making activity, and the norms of current criminal procedural and judicial legislation.
