Abstract. This analytical note presents the results of an analysis of legislative regulation in the European Union, its individual Member States and other countries regarding the activities of online content-sharing platforms in the context of the draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Some Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Regulation of the Activities of Platforms for Shared Access to Information Through Which Mass Information is Disseminated” (No. 11115 dated 25 March 2024). The focus is on the specific features of the regulation of such online platforms in Brazil, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, the USA, France, and Switzerland, with the aim of countering the spread of tools of information aggression (disinformation, illegal content, etc.) in the online space.
