An introductory online meeting was held between representatives of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the House of Lords Library of the UK Parliament.

During the meeting, the Ukrainian delegation presented the Research Service’s main areas of work and its role in providing analytical support to Parliament. The participants also discussed approaches to preparing research materials for parliamentarians and parliamentary committees, opportunities for professional training, and the potential use of artificial intelligence in parliamentary research.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore areas for future cooperation. The discussions will continue in November.
