Information note on the Draft Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to Section XV «Final Provisions» of the Law of Ukraine «On Compulsory State Pension Insurance» regarding survivor's pensions» (reg. № 13275-1 dated 28.05.2025)

This briefing paper presents the results of the analysis of the proposals envisaged by the draft law “On Amendments to Section XV ‘Final Provisions’ of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Compulsory State Pension Insurance’ regarding survivor's pensions” (Reg. No. 13275-1 of 28.05.2025). The author focuses on the doctrinal approach to understanding the nature of the survivor's pension in the PAYG pension system.
