Abstract. The informational reference summarises the issues of regulatory and strategic support for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) security in certain member states of the European Union (Finland, Germany, and France). It analyses the features of the legal regulation of CBRN security, as well as approaches to the development of state policy in this area. It also outlines key models of CBRN security organisation, their institutional features, and the possibilities for their application in Ukraine.

Abstract. The informational reference examines the issue of improving legislation in the field of border security, simplifying border and customs procedures, and implementing recommendations provided by the European Union within the framework of the project “EU Support for Strengthening Integrated Border Management in Ukraine” (EU4IBM). It also addresses the implementation of the EU acquis and the alignment of border control procedures in Ukraine with EU standards in the context of the Draft Law of Ukraine (No. 15118 dated 31 March 2026).

The compliance of the proposed amendments with the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular in the field of state border protection, as well as with the requirements of legislative drafting techniques, was analysed, and their potential risks were identified.

The informational reference examines the EU core acquis in the field of national security and law and order, as well as mandatory regulations and directives in areas such as: counter-terrorism, organized crime, cybersecurity, data protection, anti-corruption policy, and law enforcement cooperation. Abstract. The informational reference examines the organizational and legal principles and mechanisms for developing public-private cooperation in the field of cybersecurity in the context of the draft Law of Ukraine (No. 14150, dated 24.10.2025).

The draft law is considered to comply with the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of law-making and the technique of normative drafting, and the provisions of the current legislation of Ukraine that regulate public relations in the field of ensuring national security, in particular the implementation of public-private partnerships on cybersecurity issues.

The results of the research identified risks that will prevent the proper implementation of the bill during law enforcement activities and the achievement of the goal proclaimed therein of legislative support for public-private interaction in the field of cybersecurity.

Abstract. The informational reference analyzes the status of implementation of measures provided for by the recommendations of the European Commission in the progress reports of Ukraine within the framework of the European Union Enlargement Package, the Roadmap on the Rule of Law, which are aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the Security Service of Ukraine. The prospects for legislative support for the development of the Security Service of Ukraine as a modern European special service, deprived of atypical functions for it, and the introduction of restrictions in the sphere of its law enforcement powers are outlined.

Abstract. The informational reference examines the organizational and legal principles of involving and participating in joint efforts with state bodies to counter destructive activities in cyberspace. These issues are examined in the context of the proposals provided for in the draft Law of Ukraine (No. 13592, dated 01.08.2025).

The draft law is considered to be in compliance with the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of law-making and the technique of normative drafting, acts of the European Union, the provisions of the current legislation of Ukraine regulating public relations in the field of ensuring national security, in particular the implementation of public-private partnerships on cybersecurity issues.

The results of the study revealed risks that will impede the proper implementation of the draft law during law enforcement activities and the achievement of the goal declared therein, aimed at legislatively ensuring interaction between state bodies and the public in responding to threats in cyberspace, and the introduction of an effective cyber resilience system at the national level.
