Informational Reference on International Cooperation in Criminal Proceedings (Negotiating Chapter 24 “Justice, Freedom and Security”)

The informational reference examines issues related to international cooperation in criminal proceedings, in particular with regard to the investigation and prosecution of international crimes. It focuses on relevant international acts and national legal provisions in this field. The reference also identifies legislative gaps in the context of the recommendations of the European Commission set out in the Progress Report on Ukraine under the European Union Enlargement Package 2025.
