Analytical note on comparative legislation regarding the specifics of joining the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA)

Abstract. This analytical note examines the conditions for joining the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and the experience of individual Member States and candidate countries of the European Union with a view to exploring the possibilities of applying transition periods or deferrals for certain technical or regulatory requirements of the Union in this area.
