Abstract. The overview dossier is dedicated to the analysis of legal regulation of relations in the implementation of the State veteran policy. Attention is focused on the conceptual problems of forming the foundations of the State veteran policy. Measures to improve the legislation on social protection of war veterans and their families are highlighted.

Abstract. The overview dossier presents the results of a review of the legislation of the European Union (EU) Member States, in particular Estonia, Croatia, Poland, Latvia, Italy, Spain, and the USA, on the issues of appointing a guardian by parents of a minor. The author outlines the main aspects of the procedure for appointing a guardian for a child in the presence of a guardianship order. The author emphasizes the requirements for persons who may be a child's guardian. The powers of the relevant competent authorities are analyzed.

Abstract. The Review dossier analyzes the legislative regulation of the organization and provision of support services to servicemen discharged/demobilized from military service for their reintegration into civilian life. Certain aspects of the functioning of institutions that carry out relevant patronage activities in Ukraine are investigated. Examples of the organization and implementation of programs for adaptation to civilian life of demobilized servicemen in Croatia and Israel are given. The author emphasizes the effectiveness of interaction between the State and veteran non-governmental organizations in providing support to servicemen after service completion.

Abstract. The Review dossier presents the results of the analysis of Ukrainian legislation, the provisions of which support the implementation of the state demographic policy. Some demographic problems and organizational and legal means of solving them are highlighted.

A comparative analysis of the state policy measures proposed in the draft Strategy of Demographic Development of Ukraine for the period up to 2040 to stimulate birth rate growth with foreign experience in legislative regulation of such measures is carried out. Abstract. The review dossier examines in a comparative aspect the existing foreign experience of legislative support for the prevention and combating of domestic violence in relation to the following issues: the right to divorce during the wife's pregnancy and/or within one year after the birth of a child and the procedure for divorce (administrative and/or judicial); the practice of divorce in connection with domestic violence (claims, mechanism); the practice of awarding/recovering alimony until the child reaches the age of 1 (3) years. Abstract. The overview dossier presents the results of the empirical base analysis regarding the number of war veterans, their need for employment, and also identifies certain problems of access to employment after the end of military service. The current state of legal support for the implementation of the right to work for veterans in Ukraine is analyzed. The main types of state aid, including benefits and guarantees, are characterized: grants for opening one's own business (veteran entrepreneurship); preferences for employers who create jobs for veterans; vouchers for professional training, retraining or advanced training; implementation of standards of workplaces for employment of veterans; guarantees of their employment.
