Abstract. The parliamentary research is devoted to updating the types and terms of scheduled activities of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Based on the analysis of the legislation of Ukraine, the types of measures related to the implementation of its functions and powers by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have been identified and systematized according to temporal and substantive criteria. Calendar planner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for 2023 is proposed.

Abstract. The problems of legislative support of the current stage of local self-government reform in Ukraine are investigated. The doctrinal issues of decentralization of power and municipal reform, international standards of organization and functioning of local self-government and Ukraine’s obligations in this area, foreign experience of local self-government reforms and peculiarities of the legal status of territorial communities in foreign countries are considered. Emphasis is placed on the need to continue the reform of local self-government, to adjust its individual miscalculations, and to work out plans for the post-war restoration of normal life throughout Ukraine, in all territorial communities, and to create the proper legal basis for the functioning of local self-government in the current period and in the future.
