During the meeting, the Head of the Research Service acquainted the Ambassador with the key areas of the institution's activity, like the elaboration of proactive materials on the compliance of Ukrainian legislation with EU law and the organization of educational events for the Ukrainian MPs and employees of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine aimed to develop the participants’ skills in professional training on the adaptation of national legislation to the EU acquis.

Besides, it was held an exchange of views on the possibilities of establishing cooperation between the Research Service and Belgian partner institutions involved both in the research activities of the Federal Parliament and in the research work of the educational institutions.
