Representatives of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Nataliia Bartosh and Tetiana Segeda, took part in the annual seminar of the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation (ECPRD) on “Data Visualization in Parliaments: Towards a Community of Practitioners.”
The event took place on December 11–12, 2025, at the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) in Brussels, Belgium.

During the event, representatives of European parliaments discussed topical issues of the next long-term EU budget in the context of EPRS activities; ways of obtaining and verifying data, adapting different formats for data visualization.
Tetiana Segeda gave a presentation on “The human factor in data visualization: from Excel rows to democratic decisions.”
The employees of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine participated in discussions on the role of the human factor in data visualization, in particular aspects of training, education, and approaches to human resource management in parliamentary research services.
