Abstract. European Union corporate law regulates the legal framework for legal entities, including their establishment and operation inside and outside the EU, and protects the rights of shareholders, employees and other stakeholders. EU corporate law promotes transparency, efficiency and stability in the single market by setting requirements for reporting, financial audit, shareholder rights and corporate governance.

In addition, the EU is actively developing new initiatives such as corporate sustainability, due diligence of legal entities and the creation of conditions for cross-border associations.

The reference provides a general overview of the state of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU corporate law.

Abstract. The Information reference contains the results of the analysis of the experience of Austria, Germany and Poland in establishing and operating energy communities in the context of implementing the EU energy policy defined in the Fourth Energy Package ‘Clean Energy for All Europeans’. The author considers the regulation of such a form of organisation of small energy producers as energy communities and the prospects for introducing similar forms for the development of energy from renewable energy sources in Ukraine.

Abstract. The Information note presents the results of the study on the essence of the provisions of the Code of Electronic Communications of the Italian Republic. The author emphasizes the significance of this legislative act in regulating public relations arising in connection with the use of electronic communication networks, provision of electronic communication services, related facilities and services, as well as the activities of national regulatory authorities. The author analyzes the prerequisites for the Code adoption, its main provisions, and the peculiarities of implementing the legal standards of the European Electronic Communications Code (EU Directive 2018/1972) into its provisions.

Оverview of the main provisions of Regulation (EU) 2021/1119 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 June 2021 establishing the framework for achieving climate neutrality and amending Regulations (EC) No 401/2009 and (EU) 2018/1999 and other acquis EU in the field of climate policy, as well as a comparative description of the climate policies in Austria, Finland, Italy, France and Germany have been presented in the analytical note.

Abstract. The information note is devoted to the issues of legal regulation of providing assistance to people in distress on the high seas. It is established that in this context, Ukraine's obligations arise, in particular, from the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 1982, the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974, International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue of 1979, and Agreement on Cooperation of the Black Sea States on Search and Rescue in the Black Sea 1998. In order to improve the legal regulation of these issues, it is advisable to adopt the Draft Law of Ukraine «On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on regarding of activities in the field of life protection and search and rescue at sea» registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Reg. No. 9283 dated 10.05.2023).

Abstract. The informational reference is devoted to the issues of legal regulation of outdoor advertising on highways. It is established that such regulation should, first of all, ensure road safety and serve the purpose of reducing the number of road accidents, including by establishing prohibitions on the placement of advertising media that impede the assessment of the traffic situation or have similarities (in terms of external features, image or sound effect) with traffic control equipment and special signals, as well as advertising media that create the effect of the presence of pedestrians or vehicles on the road.

Abstract. In this informational reference the issue of the necessity to improve legislation on the development of a simplified mechanism for the withdrawal and redemption of land plots for the development of transport infrastructure, transfer of land to concession for the construction of roads and registration of land plots for use by transport enterprises and organisations in the context of the Draft Law «On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding of expropriation of land plots, other real estate objects placed on them, which are privately owned, for public needs or due to public necessity» (Reg. No. 6422 dated 10.12.2021).
