The Research Service has hosted a special short-term training program “Key Aspects of Parliamentary Ethics” for employees of the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ukrainian MPs and their assistant-consultants.
The educational event was aimed at developing the participants' awareness of the following: key principles, foundations and standards of parliamentary and MP’s ethics; international standards and approaches to the parliamentarism development, increasing public trust in parliament, promoting integrity and ethical behavior in the parliament; ethical standards and principles in the legislature activities.
The program was taught by Tetiana Novachenko, Doctor of Public Administration, Professor, Professor of the Department of International Relations and Political Consulting at the Institute of Law and Public Relations of the Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine”.
