Abstract. This Information note presents the results of the analysis of legislative proposals to update the legal regulation of the use of humanitarian aid in Ukraine during martial law, the provisions of Council Regulation (EC) 1257/96 of 20 June 1996 on humanitarian aid, and some documents of international organisations engaged in humanitarian aid.

Abstract. The Information reference provides an analysis of the EU Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/602 of 14 December 2023 supplementing Regulation (EU) 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on marketing standards in the hop sector and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) 1850/2006 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/601 of 14 December 2023, laying down rules for the application of Regulation (EU) 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the certification of hops and hop products and related controls, to take into account their requirements in the preparation for the second reading of the draft law ‘On hops and hop products’ (Reg. No. 9234-d of 09.02.2024).

Abstract. The Informational reference considers issues regarding the establishment of criminal liability for the illegal connection of an unauthorized construction object to engineering networks" (No. 12109 of 09.10.2024) (hereinafter - the draft law). Abstract. The information note provides a general description of the structure of democracy in the EU from the perspective of the electoral process, the functioning of parliament, and the role of civil society. The emphasis is on the content of the value of democracy and its implementation as a principle of EU law. Democracy in the EU is ensured by a wide range of institutionalized and non-institutionalized structures and actors. The principle of democracy is the basis for the organizing and functioning of the European Parliament, European political parties and foundations. European civil society is an integral factor of political processes in the EU.

Abstract. European Union corporate law regulates the legal framework for legal entities, including their establishment and operation inside and outside the EU, and protects the rights of shareholders, employees and other stakeholders. EU corporate law promotes transparency, efficiency and stability in the single market by setting requirements for reporting, financial audit, shareholder rights and corporate governance.

In addition, the EU is actively developing new initiatives such as corporate sustainability, due diligence of legal entities and the creation of conditions for cross-border associations.

The reference provides a general overview of the state of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU corporate law.

Abstract. The Information reference contains the results of the analysis of the experience of Austria, Germany and Poland in establishing and operating energy communities in the context of implementing the EU energy policy defined in the Fourth Energy Package ‘Clean Energy for All Europeans’. The author considers the regulation of such a form of organisation of small energy producers as energy communities and the prospects for introducing similar forms for the development of energy from renewable energy sources in Ukraine.

Abstract. The Information note presents the results of the study on the essence of the provisions of the Code of Electronic Communications of the Italian Republic. The author emphasizes the significance of this legislative act in regulating public relations arising in connection with the use of electronic communication networks, provision of electronic communication services, related facilities and services, as well as the activities of national regulatory authorities. The author analyzes the prerequisites for the Code adoption, its main provisions, and the peculiarities of implementing the legal standards of the European Electronic Communications Code (EU Directive 2018/1972) into its provisions.
