Abstract. The informational reference provides a general description of the transport policy of the European Union, based on the acts of European Union law that are fundamental to this field. Abstract. This information reference examines the issues of legal certainty, correctness, and feasibility of amending the draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Improvement of Legislative Standards in the Field of Drinking Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal” with a provision regarding temporary deviations from drinking water quality standards. Recommendations are provided, taking into account European Union law, the experience of foreign countries, and the current legislation of Ukraine.
