Abstract. Strategic foresight is a valuable tool for long-term planning, making informed decisions and improving the quality of public policy. This briefing paper examines the essence and purpose of strategic foresight, its key functions and common methods. Five models for the development of the foresight ecosystem in Ukraine are proposed, among which the creation of a foresight institution under the government or parliament is considered to be the best for the initial stage. The author considers the possibility of integrating foresight tools into the lawmaking process in accordance with the Law of Ukraine ‘On Lawmaking’. The author proposes mechanisms for implementing foresight, including the development of methodological recommendations, integration into existing documents, encouragement through grants, creation of knowledge sharing platforms, etc.

Abstract. In Ukraine, the issue of political party funding has undergone significant changes since independence, reflecting the evolution of legislation in the context of ensuring transparency of state institutions and democratic standards. With the adoption of a number of laws and legislative amendments, including the Law of Ukraine ‘On Political Parties in Ukraine’, a system of public and private funding was created, including both self-financing of parties and direct state subsidies.
