Abstract. In this informational reference, the state of implementation of the Recommendations of the European Parliament Needs Assessment Mission, which developed with the aim of improving the quality of Ukrainian parliamentarism, are analysed and set out in the «Report and Roadmap on Internal Reform and Institutional Capacity Building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine», which is recognised as the basis for internal reform and institutional capacity building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in accordance with the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 1035-VIII of 17 March 2016.

Abstract. A comparative analysis and generalization of the legislation of foreign countries, in particular the EU member states, on the peculiarities of the establishment and functioning of parliamentary budget offices as independent fiscal institutions under parliaments were conducted. The experience of Austria, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Spain, the United States and Canada were analyzed.

Abstract. The article presents the results of a review of the legislation of Lithuania, Croatia and Sweden on media representatives access to parliaments. Attention is focused on the peculiarities of regulating the procedure for accreditation of journalists, their admission to buildings, presence at meetings and other events of the parliament, as well as restrictions on such access.

Abstract. The practice of legislative regulation of the issues of establishing additional payments to the basic salary for local self-government officials who implement and administer international technical assistance projects (programmes) at the expense of funds provided for financing such projects (programmes) was analyzed in the informational reference. It is established that in the EU Member States the issue of establishing such salary supplements for local self-government employees is determined by national legislation in the partnership and cooperation sphere. The practices of regulating these issues are represented on the examples of such States as Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Abstract. The reference analyzed the legal and organizational framework in the field of management of assets derived from criminal activities in the context of determining the procedure for preparing and conducting by the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA) of competitive selection of legal entities or individual entrepreneurs who may manage assets.

Abstract. In order to clarify certain aspects of declaring incomes and assets of officials of foreign countries, the information guide analyzed the experience of 16 countries: Poland, Lithuania, Germany, France, Georgia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Canada, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Latvia, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden. It was concluded that, in general, the international community recognized incomes declaration as one of the effective means of preventing corruption, as it is a valuable source of information about the financial activities of officials and aims to prevent them from using their official position for private interests.
