Abstract. The article presents the results of the analysis of the essence and content of Regulation (EU) 2024/1083 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 April 2024 establishing a common framework for media services in the internal market and amending Directive 2010/13/EU (European Media Freedom Act) as a unified EU legislative act in the field of media regulation. The author analyses the prerequisites for the adoption of the document, its main provisions and potential impact on the development of legislative support for the media industry in Ukraine.

Abstract. The review provides a list of the main international and national regulatory legal acts, acts of a recommendatory and explanatory nature, which regulate the issues of financing the activities of the Court of Justice of the European Union, courts, judges and court staff in Germany, France, Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America. A list of scientific papers and analytical studies published in recent years has also been prepared on this topic.

Abstract. The briefing paper presents the results of the analysis of the draft Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the recognition of the genocide of the Bulgarian, Armenian and Greek population of Crimea in 1944 (reg. Abstract. Abstract. The informational reference provides a general description of: the legal framework for the effectiveness of border control and integrated management of external borders in the European Union countries (trends of recent years); Ukraine’s obligations under the Association Agreement between Ukraine, on the one side, and the European Union, the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States, from another  side; the main results of Ukraine’s progress in the areas of efficiency and strengthening of border control, which is a component of the 24-th negotiating chapter "Justice, Freedom and Security".

Abstract. The parliamentary research highlights the best practices of foreign experience of some EU member states in regulating the use of water cannons in the context of applying coercive measures to ensure public security, maintain public order and stop mass riots and in this regard analyzes the legislation of four European Union countries: Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany. The conditions, procedure, and features of the use of water cannons by members of the National Guard and police forces to ensure public order and security and to stop mass riots are considered.

Based on the results of the research, proposals were formulated regarding the draft Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the National Guard of Ukraine” regarding the improvement of the legal principles of the application of coercive measures by servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine" (No. 10311, dated 01.12.2023).
