The team of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine met with the team of the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS), during which the parties discussed the current state of relations and opportunities for deepening cooperation in the near future.

Deputy Secretary General of the European Parliament – Director General of the Directorate General of Research Services of the EP Anders Rasmussen and his colleagues welcomed the strengthening of contacts with the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and shared their experience on such issues as the support of the Research Service to the activities of the MPs of the European Parliament and its committees, foresight analysis, EPRS working methods and knowledge sources, publication review system (criteria and process), etc.

For her part, the Head of the Research Service Lesia Vaolevska acquainted the European Parliament’s colleagues with the tasks, structure, and activities of the RSVRU and thanked for their readiness to deepen bilateral relations between the institutions.
