On May 14, 2024, representatives of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, headed by the Head Lesia Vaolevska, held several thematic meetings with Polish colleagues, in particular with:
- Agata Karwowska-Sokolowska, Director of the Office of Analysis and Petition of the Chancellery of the Senate of the Republic of Poland;
- Anna Szczepaniak-Słowik, representative of the Senatorial Affairs Office of the Senate Chancellery;
- the team of the Bureau of Expertise and Regulatory Impact Assessment of the Chancellery of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.
A series of agreements were reached on cooperation in various areas, in particular, it was discussed a work plan for cooperation with the research services of the Sejm and the Senate, conducting of trainings for the Ukrainian MPs and their assistants as well as for employees of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
