framework of cooperation between the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of
Ukraine and Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, an educational webinar was
held on the topic: "Customs Union" (under Section 19 Ukraine's EU accession
negotiations).

The webinar discussed important aspects of the functioning and development of the EU Customs Union, which is a key part of the internal market. The main regulations governing the EU customs policy and the implementation of European customs legislation in Ukraine within the framework of European integration processes were analyzed. In particular, attention was paid to the stages of adaptation of customs procedures and development of relevant IT systems to approximate to EU standards.
