The delegation of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine met the leadership of the College of Europe in Natolin (the Republic of Poland) to discuss the cooperation perspectives between the institutions in the context of strengthening the role of the Parliament in European integration processes.
As a result of the negotiations, further steps were taken to organize short-term training programs for Ukrainian MPs on the adaptation of national legislation to the EU acquis. The possibility of holding educational events for the staff of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine aimed at raising awareness of the EU acquis and its implementation specifics were also considered.
Cooperation with the College of Europe in Natolin will contribute to strengthening the institutional capacity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the process of approximation to the EU standards.
