At the invitation of the Co-Director of the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe V. Klamer, Co-Director of the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation of the European Parliament L. Zuleta de Reales Ansaldo and Head of the Department for Research and Coordination on Parliamentary Affairs of the Austrian Parliament K. Konrath, representatives of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kolosov and Denys Mityasov took part in the seminar of the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe “Parliamentary Commissions of Inquiry in Practice” on June 12-13, 2025.

During the seminar, the issues of the activities of parliamentary commissions of inquiry in the member parliaments of the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation were discussed.

Participants also shared their experiences of the activities of parliamentary investigative commissions in their respective countries, as well as discussed issues related to communication strategies and the impact of parliamentary investigative commissions on public opinion.
