Abstract. The information note examines the issue of payment of a one-time cash benefit in the event of fatality (death) or incapacitation of a police officer during the period of martial law in the context of draft law No. 10374. The attention is drawn to the legislative provisions-conditions under which such assistance is paid, as well as to the relevant Decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

Abstract. The informational reference analyzes certain aspects of ensuring the right to a pension for persons discharged from military service. Attention is focused on the peculiarities of the mechanism of military pensions recalculation. The problematic aspects of the right to pension provision guarantees in terms of recalculation of pensions are noted. A review of the legislation and judicial practice on pensions for military personnel. An analysis of the provisions of the Draft Law «On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine «On Pension Provision for Persons Discharged from Military Service and Certain Other Persons» regarding the restoration of the right to recalculate pensions» (Reg. No. 10330 dated 12.12.2023).

Abstract. The informational reference deals with issues of ensuring the rights of individuals in field of social security during martial law. The normative-legal and organizational-legal guarantees of the right to social security are analyzed. Problematic aspects of activity of structural divisions of social security of the population bodies, which affect the level of ensuring the rights of individuals in field of social security, are noted. The results of provision monitoring of social services at local level are analyzed.

Abstract. In the informational reference, certain aspects of patronage activities of state institutions and other institutions regarding veterans in foreign countries are indicated. Emphasis is placed on the successful experience of implementing social programs for veterans by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, which is responsible for ensuring the reintegration of military personnel into civilian life. The experience of veteran (non-state) organizations in patronage activities for veterans and their family members is highlighted.

Abstract. In the informational reference, certain conceptual aspects of organization of mandatory state life and health insurance for judges are indicated. Attention is focused on inconsistency of the mechanism for providing mandatory state life and health insurance for judges, provided for by the legislation of Ukraine, with the principles of social insurance and the procedure for implementing personal insurance. A provisions analysis of the draft law "On Amendments to Article 141 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges" in relation to social insurance" (reg. № 9634 dated 21.08.2023) was conducted.

Abstract. The informational reference analyzes the measures necessary to ensure the implementation of the Law of Ukraine dated September 21, 2022 № 2620-IX "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Mandatory State Social Insurance" and the Law of Ukraine "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance". Attention is focused on the issue of impact of social insurance as a tool for accumulating financial resources on the provision of state social guarantees and the importance of legislative regulation of public procurement in the field of social security.

Abstract. In the informational reference, certain problematic aspects of the mandatory state social insurance system reform are indicated. Attention was focused on the need to make changes to the legislation of Ukraine on administrative offenses in connection with the termination of activities of the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine and its executive directorate.

Abstract. The informational reference deals with the analysis of the functioning of the Israel’s pension system. Attention was focused on the prerequisites for updating the legislation on accumulative pension funds, including funds for military personnel (defense forces). Major legislative innovations aimed at ensuring the fulfillment of the 2003-2004 pension reform tasks have been analyzed. Certain problematic aspects of the functioning of accumulative pension funds have been identified.
