Abstract. The Concept aims to increase the institutional capacity of the committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by developing proposals to improve the current legislation on determining the procedure for forming committees as bodies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the rights and obligations of committees in the exercise of their functions. The innovations regarding certain aspects of the legal status of the committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are proposed in the Concept.

Abstract. This informational reference deals with the European Union countries’ pension systems and their main legal and socio-economic indicators, which affect the extent of financial support of pensioners and persons with disabilities. The regulatory provisions on grounds, conditions and amount of retirement and disability pensions in the legislation of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have been analyzed. The legal genesis of the basic provisions of these European countries is of particular interest to Ukraine.

Abstract. The problem of state registration of civil status acts that occurred in the territory of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and the approaches to its solution proposed in the draft law (Reg. No. 9069 dated 28.02.2023), in particular, using the principle of «Namibian exception» was analyzed. Taking into account the case law of the ECtHR, compliance of the draft Law with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, and the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms was reasoned.
