Abstract. The Informational reference analyzes the provisions of the draft Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine and the Criminal Executive Code of Ukraine regarding the deprivation of the status of a war veteran» (Reg. No. 11535, dated August 30, 2024), the issue of legislative support is considered procedures for depriving the status of a war veteran and canceling benefits for such a category as one of the types of punishment for committing serious crimes. Based on the results of the analysis, the existing risks of the draft law were determined.

Abstract. The Informational reference analyzes the provisions of the draft Law of Ukraine «On criminal liability for international crimes» (Reg. No. 11538, dated September 2, 2024). The compliance of the draft law with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the principles of law-making activities, the norms of the current criminal and criminal procedural legislation, and other laws of Ukraine regarding ensuring the inevitability of criminal prosecution for international crimes is considered. Certain risks have been allocated, which in the future may impede the proper implementation of the draft law during law enforcement activities.

The Informational reference analyzes the provisions of the draft Law of Ukraine «On amendments to the Criminal and Criminal Procedural Codes of Ukraine in connection with the adoption of the Law of Ukraine «On criminal responsibility for international crimes» (Reg. No. 11539, dated September 2, 2024). The compliance of the draft law with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the principles of law-making activity, the norms of the current criminal and criminal procedural legislation regarding ensuring the inevitability of criminal prosecution for international crimes in relation to the draft Law of Ukraine «On criminal responsibility for international crimes» (Reg. No. 11538, dated 02.09. 2024). Certain risks have been singled out, which in the future may hinder the proper implementation of the draft law during law enforcement activities.

Abstract. The Budget Process Guide was prepared to provide newly elected MPs of Ukraine and their assistant consultants, employees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with an overview of the budget process. It focuses on the powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in approving, amending and monitoring the implementation of the State Budget of Ukraine, and reviews the peculiarities of the budget process in the European Union and the role of member states in it.
