Abstract. The analytical note is devoted to the study of the legislative regulation peculiarities of functional limitations assessment of persons in foreign countries. Particular attention is paid to the defined concepts of "disability", "person with a disability", "level of participation", "reasonable accommodation", "basic functions". The procedure for determining disability in terms of the right to social security, professional rehabilitation and other measures to promote the participation of a person with a disability in public life is analyzed. The provisions of normative legal acts of Lithuania, Italy, the USA and Israel regarding the procedure for establishing disability and the level of internal functionality have been analyzed. Attention is focused on the grounds and implementation of re-examination (review) of persons with disabilities.

The information note sets out the results of the analysis of the need to amend the legal and organisational framework for the collection and accounting of the single contribution for obligatory state social insurance, the conditions and procedure for its calculation and payment, and the powers of the body responsible for its collection and accounting.

Abstract. The informational reference contains the the analysis results of the Draft Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Improving the Legal Status of Persons Missing in Special Circumstances and Creating Conditions for the Functioning of the Unified Register of Persons Missing in Special Circumstances» (Reg. No. 10442 dated 29.01.2024). Attention is focused on the provisions of the draft law which propose changes to the procedure for obtaining the status of missing persons under special circumstances. The content of the innovations was analyzed, including those related to updating the procedure for maintaining the Unified Register of Persons Missing in Special Circumstances.

Abstract. The formation of effective legal regulation of the grounds of legal responsibility for violation of the procedure for providing financial services without a license actualizes the issue of introducing a system of means of a state-authority, coercive nature that can be applied to offenders. The parliamentary study analyzed separate amendments to the legal regulation of the activities of financial companies in terms of obtaining licenses, clarified the grounds of administrative responsibility for carrying out unlicensed activities, and outlined the prospects of criminalization of acts in the field of business, taking into account the data of judicial statistics.

Abstract. The analytical note examines the experience of foreign countries in the legal regulation of the creation and functioning of information and communication systems in the field of urban development (including spatial planning), keeping records of postal addresses, buildings and structures (including 3D models), underground facilities, as well as accounting and display of engineering networks. The legal framework for the development of infrastructure (systems) of geospatial data in Croatia, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Spain, Sweden, Finland, and Canada is considered.

Abstract. The information guide outlines certain aspects of the mechanism for ensuring the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons. Attention is focused on the expediency of observing international standards of social and legal protection of this category of persons in national legislation. An analysis of the provisions of the Draft Law «On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the implementation of the rights of internally displaced persons» (Reg. No. 10405 dated 12.01.2024) was carried out.

Abstract. The analytical note is devoted to journalistic standards and rules of professional ethics in armed conflicts, which are guided by the media and journalists' associations, in particular in the UK (British Broadcasting Corporation - BBC, Ethical Journalism Network - EJN) and the USA (Society of Professional Journalists - SPJ). Attention is emphasized on the importance of having a system of self-regulation of journalists' work to ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards of work enshrined in the relevant codes, rules, and recommendations.
