Abstract. The results of analysis of peculiarities of the state policy and legislation of a number of European region countries regarding the mandatory introduction of English language learning at the preschool and primary education levels are presented. In particular, a detailed review of normatively regulated principles and approaches used in implementation of the state educational policy on foreign languages studies (with an emphasis on English) was carried out, as well as evaluations of experts and conclusions of expert studies on the effectiveness of foreign language studies introduction at the preschool or primary education levels in each individual state. Attention is focused on the effectiveness of methods, mechanisms and tools of legal regulation of mandatory introduction of English language learning at preschool and primary education levels in such countries as: Estonia, Spain, Italy, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, France, Switzerland.

Abstract. The practice of legislative regulation of the issues of establishing additional payments to the basic salary for local self-government officials who implement and administer international technical assistance projects (programmes) at the expense of funds provided for financing such projects (programmes) was analyzed in the informational reference. It is established that in the EU Member States the issue of establishing such salary supplements for local self-government employees is determined by national legislation in the partnership and cooperation sphere. The practices of regulating these issues are represented on the examples of such States as Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Abstract. The review dossier is devoted to the illegal imprisonment by the Russian Federation of citizens of Ukraine for political grounds and the response of the European Parliament and the institutions of the European Union to such imprisonment. Particular attention is paid to the possible measures of EU influence on the prevention of illegal imprisonment of persons for political reasons by improving the content of the resolutions in order to improve their effectiveness. The normative and legal documents of the European Parliament regarding to the response of the imprisonment of persons in the Russian Federation for political grounds were analyzed.

Abstract. The analytical note explores the peculiarities of legislative regulation in individual countries of issues related to responsibility for providing false information by migration authorities ("migration fraud"). In this context, the grounds and procedure for prosecution for providing false statements, explanations, documents containing false information to the migration authorities for the identification of persons, otherwise misleading employees of the migration services in order to obtain passports or other documents certifying or confirming identity are considered her special status (refugee, asylum seeker, etc.), distinctive and common features of such responsibility.

In addition, the types and subjects of responsibility for such actions, the types of fines (punishments) applied for their commission, as well as the bodies authorized to apply them, the specifics of the responsibility of witnesses and translators who are involved for the identification a person and provide about him knowingly false information are explored.

These issues are analyzed on the example of the USA, Great Britain, as well as the following member states of the European Union: Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania.

Abstract. The Draft Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Effective Forest Management Based on Forestry on the Principles of Close-to-Nature Forestry Adapted to Climate Change and Conservation of Forest Biodiversity» (Reg. № 9615 of August 16, 2023) was analyzed for compliance: acts of law of the European Union (hereinafter - the EU) and Ukraine's obligations in the field of European integration; Resolutions of the Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe (Forest Europe); the state environmental policy of Ukraine and national legislation. The provisions of Directive 2011/92/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 13, 2011 on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment; Council Directive 92/43/EEC of May 21, 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and wild fauna and flora; Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 of the European Parliament and of the Council of May 31, 2023 on the provision on the Union market and export from the Union of certain goods and products relating to the destruction and degradation of forests and repealing Regulation (EU) 995/2010 were analyzed. The experience of European countries in terms of objects and criteria for environmental impact assessment in the forestry sector was considered.
