On April 2- 4, 2024, the Research Service, together with the USAID Rada: Next Generation Program, conducted training under a special short-term advanced training program "Approximation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU acquis: practical aspects for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine", organized for employees of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ukrainian MPs and their assistants.
The educational event's purpose was to form knowledge about: the EU legal system and integration acquis, the EU accession process, requirements and procedures for accession, as well as improve practical skills in adapting Ukrainian legislation to the provisions of the EU acquis and analyzing draft laws for compliance with the EU law.
