Chief scientific consultant of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Yuliia Nechyporenko took part in the discussion of the Report of the European Commission "Ukraine 2023: green deal and sustainable development" within the framework of the hearings of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management on the topic: "Ukraine's path in reforming environmental and climate legislation in terms of EU membership negotiations: plans and activities of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Government in 2024".

The event was joined by the EU Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, scientists and representatives of civil society.
