Representatives of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine got acquainted with the activities, tasks and functions of the Research Unit of the Seimas. The parties discussed the peculiarities of the process of adaptation of Lithuanian legislation to the EU Acquis and agreed to conduct trainings on EU Acquis for Ukrainian MPs and employees of the Verkhovna Rada Aparatus, as well as webinars for employees of the Rada Research Service on the use of artificial intelligence and the preparation of foresight studies.  

A number of thematic meetings were held with Lithuanian colleagues, in particular with:

- Emanuelis Zingeris, Deputy Chair, Committee on European Affairs;

- Rolandas Kacinskas, Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the Speaker of the Seimas;

- Marius Janukonis, Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine (2015–2020).

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Law Faculty of Vilnius University, within the framework of which colleagues from the University will conduct webinars for MPs of Ukraine and employees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on European integration.
