On 22 January 2026, an educational webinar entitled “International Cooperation in Investigating and Prosecuting International Crimes” took place. The event was organized by the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in cooperation with the EU Project “Pravo-Justice”.

The webinar was delivered by Tinna Goletiani, Senior International Expert on Fight against International Crimes, Sub-Component Lead of the EU Project “Pravo-Justice”.

The webinar explored key mechanisms of international cooperation in cases involving international crimes, including mutual legal assistance, extradition, the establishment of joint investigation teams, as well as cooperation with INTERPOL, Eurojust, and the International Criminal Court. Particular attention was given to the role of Eurojust in supporting investigations and ensuring accountability for international crimes committed in Ukraine.

Simultaneous interpretation was provided with the support of the EU Project “Pravo-Justice”, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of participants.
