Abstract. The Information Note presents the results of the analysis of the proposals set out in the draft law ‘On Amendments to Article 86 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” regarding the peculiarities of pension provision for prosecutors under martial law’ (Reg. No. 12149-1 of 12.11.2024), concerning the procedure for granting disability pensions to prosecutors, as well as improvement of the legislative regulation of pension provision for prosecutors under martial law.

Abstract. The Informational Reference analyzes the main models of disability (medical, social, biopsychosocial). The author notes the similarity of the criteria for working capacity in the legislation of the European Union member states and the difference in the assessment methods and the procedure for establishing disability.  The author analyzes the principles of legislative regulation of the procedure for establishing disability (lost functionality level) in Latvia. The information Note analyzes the provisions of the legislation on compulsory state social insurance in terms of ensuring the right of the family and each person who had the right to receive maintenance from the victim to receive one-time insurance payments in the event of the victim's death as a result of an industrial accident. The article also considers proposals for improving the legal regulation of the procedure for awarding one-time insurance payments in case of death of an injured person as a result of an industrial accident.
