Abstract. The Informational reference examines the issue of the legal status of prisoners of war in Ukraine in the context of the provisions of international humanitarian law and domestic legislation. It analyzes individual acts of international and national legislation devoted to this topic.

Abstract. The Informational Reference analyzes the main models of disability (medical, social, biopsychosocial). The author notes the similarity of the criteria for working capacity in the legislation of the European Union member states and the difference in the assessment methods and the procedure for establishing disability.  The author analyzes the principles of legislative regulation of the procedure for establishing disability (lost functionality level) in Latvia.
