Abstract. The Informational reference examines the issue of the legal status of prisoners of war in Ukraine in the context of the provisions of international humanitarian law and domestic legislation. It analyzes individual acts of international and national legislation devoted to this topic.
The need for legislative regulation of the prerequisites and procedure for the cancellation of the legal status of a prisoner of war and his release from captivity before the end of hostilities has been identified.

The Informational Reference presents the results of the analysis of the proposals envisaged by the Draft Law ‘On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Vocational Training’ (Reg. Abstract. The Informational Reference analyzes the main models of disability (medical, social, biopsychosocial). The author notes the similarity of the criteria for working capacity in the legislation of the European Union member states and the difference in the assessment methods and the procedure for establishing disability. The author analyzes the principles of legislative regulation of the procedure for establishing disability (lost functionality level) in Latvia. The author emphasizes the peculiarities of regulating the activities of institutions establishing disability (lost functionality level) of persons in this country.

Abstract. The Informational Reference is dedicated to the analysis of the legislation norms on the population employment in terms of ensuring the right to a voucher for vocational training, retraining and advanced training, as well as the right to assistance for the vocational training period. The author considers proposals for improving the legislative regulation of the conditions for the right to study under a voucher, payment of tuition fees, and recognition of the training results of registered unemployed persons obtained through non-formal or informal education.
