Abstract. The Informational Reference presents the results of the analysis of the proposals envisaged by the draft law ‘On Amendments to the Labour Code of Ukraine and Other Legislative Acts on Regulation of the Issue of Granting Additional Leave to One of the Child's Parents in Case of Recognition of the Other One as Missing under Special Circumstances’ (Reg. No. 12369 of 30.12.2024). Particular attention is paid to the peculiarities of legal regulation of social leave, including additional leave.

Abstract. The Informational Reference presents the results of the analysis of the legal aspects of applying points to calculate the amount of pensions granted within the PAYG pension system. Particular attention is paid to the government draft law ‘On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance” and some other laws of Ukraine on improving the mechanism of pension calculation and accounting of pension rights’. A comparative study of the benefits and risks of introducing a point-based pension system was carried out on the example of reforming the pay-as-you-go (PAYG) pension system in France and Germany.

The Briefing Paper presents the results of the analysis of the legal regulation of relations in the field of child mentoring in the European Union Member States (Latvia, Sweden) and the United States. It is established that mentoring is aimed at the comprehensive, harmonious development of a child's personality and the acquisition of life competences through the interaction of a mentor (contact person) with a child.

Abstract. The Informational Reference presents the results of the analysis of the proposals envisaged by the draft law ‘On Amendments to Article 43 of the Law of Ukraine “On Pension Provision for Persons Discharged from Military Service and Certain Other Persons” regarding the provision of pensions to servicemen discharged from military service without a maximum amount limit’ (Reg. No. 12262 of 28.11.2024). The article focuses on the basic principles of the solidarity pension system in terms of the mechanism for limiting the pension amount.

Abstract. The Informational Reference presents the results of the analysis of the proposals envisaged by the draft law ‘On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Pension Provision for Prosecutors’ Employees’ (Reg. No. 12278 of 02.12.2024). The author focuses on the peculiarities of pension provision for prosecutors, the essence of the concept of ‘professional ability to work’ for the purpose of granting a pension for length of service.
