Abstract. The Informational Reference provides a general description of the EU acquis on non-discrimination. The list of EU legal acts that are basic on non-discrimination is provided. Attention is focused on the signs (grounds) of discrimination, forms of discrimination, as well as the application areas of EU anti-discrimination legislation. The mechanisms for protecting the right to non-discrimination (equal treatment) are identified. The author analyzes the state of implementation of EU law on non-discrimination in national legislation.

Abstract. The informational reference contains the results of the analysis of legislative regulation of state policy measures for war veterans. Attention is paid to the legislation conceptual problems in terms of updating the system of social protection of war veterans.
