Abstract. The information note presents the results of the analysis of the main aspects of the systematization of the legislation of Ukraine on social protection. The advantages of codification of sectoral legislation are identified. Attention is focused on the problems of implementation and methods of codification of the legislation on social protection. The main directions of codification of the legislation of Ukraine on social protection are characterized.

Abstract. This information note presents the results of an analysis of draft laws of Ukraine proposing amendments to part two of Article 233 of the Labour Code of Ukraine regarding the right of employees to file a lawsuit with no time limit to recover wages and other payments owed to them. It briefly describes the experience of regulating this issue in certain Member States of the European Union.
