Abstract. This analytical note presents the results of an analysis of the legislation of European Union Member States (Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, France, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Sweden) concerning the accounting of cultural property, procedures for maintaining cultural property registers, and the provision of state support to the owners, possessors, or users of cultural property entered in the cultural heritage register. Particular attention is given to the specific features of legislative regulation in this field.

Abstract. The review dossier presents an analysis of the legislation of the Member States of the European Union and the United States concerning the involvement of juries in the adjudication of court cases related to family and marital relations, the protection of children’s rights, child adoption, and the termination of parental rights. It examines legislative regulation in selected U.S. states, relevant judicial precedents, as well as the legal frameworks of the Member States of the European Union governing institutions analogous to the jury system.

Abstract. This parliamentary study examines the European model of integrated state border management and border security, taking into account current trends and emerging challenges. To this end, it analyses key EU public policy documents and legal acts that establish the institutional and legal framework for strengthening security policy, particularly in the context of compliance with the Schengen acquis.
The study also reviews the national legislation of EU candidate countries – in particular Montenegro, Albania, and Moldova – in the field of integrated state border management and border security. It identifies avenues for improving border governance and summarises priority organisational and legal principles for enhancing cross-border cooperation, combating cross-border crime, irregular migration, and human trafficking, in light of global destabilising factors, migration risks, and geopolitical threats.
