Abstract. This informational reference deals with the European Union countries’ pension systems and their main legal and socio-economic indicators, which affect the extent of financial support of pensioners and persons with disabilities. The regulatory provisions on grounds, conditions and amount of retirement and disability pensions in the legislation of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have been analyzed. The legal genesis of the basic provisions of these European countries is of particular interest to Ukraine.

Abstract. The problem of state registration of civil status acts that occurred in the territory of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and the approaches to its solution proposed in the draft law (Reg. No. 9069 dated 28.02.2023), in particular, using the principle of «Namibian exception» was analyzed. Taking into account the case law of the ECtHR, compliance of the draft Law with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, and the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms was reasoned.

Abstract. The informational reference deals with the major organizational and legal aspects of the system of social protection of war veterans and the issue of the introduction of the new status, i.e. “Defender”. Special emphasis was made on the conceptual approaches to determination of the directions of legislation development in the field of social support of Defenders of Ukraine and their family members. The main aspects of the reform of the legislation on social support of defenders of Ukraine have been analyzed.

Abstract. The issues regarding the standards of aviation activities in the field of security and defense of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) – an international intergovernmental organization that constitutes a military-political union of 30 states of North America and Europe (hereinafter referred to as NATO) are considered in the review dossier. The main institutional mechanisms that ensure the proper and effective organization of aviation activities in the NATO security and defense sector, in particular: the legal status and functions of the competent (authorized) body on aviation issues in the specified sector; legal grounds, the procedure for state supervision of aviation entities, as well as issues of technical investigation of aviation incidents and serious incidents involving aircraft in the field of NATO security and defense; current certification requirements for the above-mentioned entities, aviation personnel and aircrafts are revealed.
