Abstract. The Informational Reference presents the results of the analysis of the proposals envisaged by the draft law ‘On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Pension Provision for Prosecutors’ Employees’ (Reg. No. 12278 of 02.12.2024). The author focuses on the peculiarities of pension provision for prosecutors, the essence of the concept of ‘professional ability to work’ for the purpose of granting a pension for length of service.

Abstract. The Informational reference considers the issues of improving the grounds for criminal liability for the commission of certain corruption and corruption-related criminal offenses and the peculiarities of applying preventive measures during martial law in the context of the draft law (No. 12287, dated 06.12.2024).
The draft law is analyzed for compliance with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of law-making activity, the provisions of the current legislation on criminal liability, and the laws of Ukraine regulating public relations in the field of combating corruption.

Abstract. The Information Note presents the results of the analysis of legislative proposals to update the legislative regulation of relations in the field of social protection of internally displaced persons. The analysis is based, in particular, on the provisions of the UN Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement and the data of the survey of the population of Ukraine conducted by the International Organisation for Migration.

Abstract: The Briefing Paper presents the results of the analysis of the legislation of the G-7 countries (Canada, the USA, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Japan) on access of media representatives to parliamentary buildings. The paper highlights the peculiarities of regulating the procedure of accreditation of journalists, their admission to the parliament building, attendance at parliamentary meetings and other events, as well as restrictions on such access.

Abstract. The informational reference examines the issue of strategies that would provide Ukraine with more realistic prospects of joining the European Union (EU). One of them envisages Ukraine's gradual integration into the EU through gradual strengthening of economic integration within the European Economic Area. The second strategy is based on the idea of creating a Greater European Council, which, in contrast the European Political Community, could function as a real decision-making body and facilitate the process of Ukraine's full membership in the EU.

Abstract. Abstract. The research examines the functioning of the cyber forces of the DPRK (North Korea). The paper presents a description of the extensive system of military bodies and hacker groups that perform tasks in the interests of the DPRK government in terms of phishing, cryptocurrency theft, cyberattacks, operating system hacking, etc. The paper points out the temporal growth of the DPRK’s interest in waging cyberwarfare on a global scale. Based on the generalization of the risks of North Korean cyberattacks, which are indicated, in particular, by foreign experts, the importance of creating special cyber forces units in Ukraine is substantiated, which would ensure the deterrence and repulsion of Russian and North Korean aggression in the cyber domain, which is especially relevant in the context of cyberwarfare.

Abstract. The Informational reference analyzes the issues of establishing administrative liability for actions related to the failure to publish the video recording of the plenary sessions of local government bodies and the distortion of the content of this video recording, in the context of the proposals provided for in the draft law of Ukraine (No. 12186, dated 07.11.2024).
The draft law is considered to comply with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the fundamental principles of law-making activity, the norms of current legislation on administrative responsibility, and the laws of Ukraine regulating public relations in the field of local self-government, including the procedure for holding plenary sessions of local councils.
The results of the research revealed risks that may further impede the proper implementation of the Law during law enforcement activities and the achievement of the goal declared therein, aimed at establishing the administrative liability of local government officials for interfering with the video recording of a plenary meeting of a session of local government bodies, failure to store and publish the relevant video recording.
